Company History

Smartcard Systems Limited was originally set up in 2001 as an electronics component supplier for customers in Asia, including China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

In 2003, the company started to sell RFID related products including Access Control systems, RFID based smart cards and readers. The company also sold RFID contactless smartcard printers to China and Hong Kong.

In 2005, the company had been authorized as distributor of French made Evolis contactless RFID card printers for Hong Kong and Macau markets for more than ten years.

We supply Evolis printer products and consumables in Hong Kong and Macau.

We are authorized distributor of products from Kanematsu/TeamNISCA, Cardpresso, Exchangeit.

We sell also the following products from:

Matica, Digital Identification, Magicard, Nfive, Exchangeit.
Fargo, Datacard, Zebra, I & A card printers.
Card printing software such as CardExchange, Cardpresso, eMedia, Nfive Cardfive, EPIsuite, Asure ID, etc.

We provide also membership card related software and hardware products solutions.

We resell also card readers from Identive(SCM), Pulsonix PCB Design & circuit simulation CAD/CAM system, RETEX racks, EBE electronic switches, BTI safety switches and ISKRA electrical & electronic components products.

We are now a registered supplier for the Hong Kong SAR government. Supplier ID no.: 1062160.
